My one tip is if you’re not 100% confident it will be a good shot, pull the shot into a separate mug so if it is a bad shot, you aren’t stuck with it in your ice cream.

How’d it taste? Cookies and creme sounds like a good choice for affogato. This is one of the first things I plan on trying to make whenever I get my espresso machine. I bet this must look very satisfying to watch when done in a glass!
